A proud member of both the National and Nashville “Songwriters Hall of Fame” and holder of the National Academy of Songwriters’ “Lifetime Achievement Award”, Webb penned hits like “Wichita Lineman” for Glen Campbell, “Up Up and Away” for The Fifth Dimension, and Richard Harris’ “MacArthur Park”. Among his many hit songs, “By the Time I Get to Phoenix” was in the top five most performed songs between 1940 and 1990, and he is the only artist to have received Grammy Awards for music, lyrics, and orchestration.
